Just took the test, scored 75%, vs. 62% National Benchmark.
Call it ego, I'm still a little annoyed... but at least I'm exceeding the National Benchmark. Maybe it's a competitive nature of some sort... But I did figure I'd score at least 80%.
I was a little slow, but I plead that there are still some unfamiliar things on V8i...
AND... My computer blipped out on me in the middle of things. Ran out of battery power on exercize 7 or 8. GRRRRR! That got me in a hostile mood!
Now... to figure out how to take these online courses...

I have also found out, not surprizingly, that AutoCAD is offering a similar program to Bentley's training for unemployed CAD operators.
I will be investigating this, too!

I have survived to 60 years...
It seems the last several years have gone very slowly.
I have felt like I was in slavery, due to my profound poverty.
I would have been homeless if not for Mom needing a driver, and, frankly, a cook.
Getting restarted, now that I finally have an income... fixed, and dismal, but an income all the same.
Changes coming as I gear up to take this art stuff seriously.
Frustrated that there's only so much I can do each month, but at least I can.
This pseudonym has been registered as a DBA (Doing Business As), and if this next year will justify it, Mother McCridhe Studio will become LLC.

Now I gotta figure out what's my genre and what I'm going to write about. Lost a day already. Hmmmmm... well, don't expect to win this one, but it'll give me something to play with.
13 Months, Whadya Get?
Well... After a 13 month lay-off, I'm reporting for a job tomorrow.
For most accounts, I'm not thrilled. It's a little over 1/3 of the pay that I've been mostly getting since 1999 (which I'm not thrilled about either, but... that's contracting), less benefits that I usually get, even (and for contracting, that's not much!), and it will last no longer than 8 weeks.
But...
At least I can point to that and say I haven't been sitting on my butt intentionally.
